I can't speak for others, but as for myself, I found my way here through a 
Planet Mozilla post, and when I saw other people speaking up, I decided to as 
well.  I've been using Firefox since at least Phoenix 0.6.  Never before have I 
been so heartbroken and disappointed by Mozilla until Brendan Eich was allowed 
to be pushed out of his job.  I'm thankful that Firefox is free software, 
because this could signal the beginning of the end of Mozilla; at least it can 
be forked.  Perhaps IceWeasel will rise from the Phoenix's ashes?  :/

The correct response to this whole ordeal would have been, "Mozilla does not 
negotiate with terrorists.  We stand behind our family members 100%."
