(disclaimer: I am not a Mozilla employee, I am a former Netscaper, old-time Mozillian, author of Nvu, BlueGriffon, many add-ons and many 3rd-party software created as a contractor) And you trust them? The people who heard from some people who heard from some people that the friend of some people reported that blah blah? They were in the room with Brendan and Mitchell and the Board? Oh, come on... Let's be serious for a second. This is almost certainly entire bullshit. Brendan loves Mozilla and has done all what was possible to make it a successful adventure, even at times it was not obvious at all. He almost certainly took the decision himself because he cares about the fate of Mozilla, because he saw the situation was going out of control. He has _always_ done everything for Mozilla, even the ultimate sacrifice. So please stop attacking Mozilla the organization. It did not perform very well during that crisis, I can agree on that. It will in the near-term future have to analyze in very deep details how it can be a corporation living in a highly challenging world AND preserving the values of the Foundation. Yes, I also agree on that. But its mission and manifesto remain and prevail and that's all what matters now. </Daniel> _______________________________________________ governance mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/governance
