While I agree that some of these posts shouldn't be let through because
they are, in fact, abusive, I'm pretty sure Gerv is doing his best to find
a compromise between keeping to the participation guidelines and enabling
us to engage angry people in discussions. (I just see that Gerv has
responded  to that effect.)

Having said that, I won't personally be doing much of the engaging,
anymore: I don't think responding with a prepared statement is a good way
to handle this, and I find writing individual responses to all these posts
too taxing to keep it up. I still think it's important, so as Gerv said,
please do join in.
