Hi Chris, Kent, All, > I have been trying on and off for the last two years to get Thunderbird > usage data available to the current volunteer-driven Thunderbird core > team, and to get permission to publish that data either on private > blogs, or on the official Thunderbird blog.
I am sorry to hear this. I agree in principle that this data should be public, and, in the absence of a designated owner for it, I'll step in to make it happen. The problem for me right now is that I don't know what specific data we are talking about, and I haven't seen it described in this thread. While I am a Thunderbird user, I and my team have not worked with data from the product and will need to look into a bit. Kent, if you can wait about a week, when I'm back from personal vacation, I'd be happy to have a call with you to figure out what precisely your needs are. I'll send you an email off-list now.
