Did you know that referring to what ISO recognizes as the "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" as simply "Macedonia" is something that even today will get some Greeks up in arms? Do we really want to get into this mess? I can understand either using ISO verbatim or using a free-form field labeled "Country or Region", because in both cases we can legitimately say in case of complaints "it's not our fault", but devising our own special set of rules sounds like asking for trouble.
