I don't have details on our end yet. But patients for some NAACCR cancer cases are considered unknown when they are entered into NAACCR. Other patients have unknown field values that are entered in NAACCR but not the EHR. I was under the impression that Epic Prelude (registration application) was the source of truth. For the most part it is, but not always.
Just another topic for data quality I guess. Have you tried following the directions on MultiSiteDev<https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/wiki/MultiSiteDev>? At which step are you having trouble? What are the symptoms? Also, please send some details about the NAACCR field changes by Monday morning so we can prepare for the discussion. If you don't manage to send details by email, I'll understand. But let's keep things moving between meetings if we can. -- Dan ________________________________ From: Wanta Keith M [[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, November 17, 2015 3:45 PM To: Dan Connolly; Nathan Graham Cc: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: NAACCR python code Dan, On the agenda for next week's GPC DEV meeting, it might be worth discussing elephant. Also, in next week's meeting, please add a topic about "NAACCR field changes - Keith". I'll explain what this is about next week. Things are moving more quickly than our monthly publishing rhythm, so MultiSite dev access (i.e. elephant) is important to get recent work on #358<https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/ticket/358>. We have never updated TOPO, MORPH, etc.; we grabbed them just once. (I have a TODO on a wiki page about grabbing more recent stuff, but have not got even as far as opening a ticket.) -- Dan ________________________________ From: Wanta Keith M [[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, November 17, 2015 10:04 AM To: Nathan Graham; Dan Connolly Cc: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: NAACCR python code Nathan - That's fine if you promote the thread to GPC-DEV. I'm not making any huge changes currently, but we'll have to maintain this code overtime, so it'll be important to get a group opinion on some things, especially if we will be relying on it for the PCORI/GPC breast cancer survey(s). I found your code, but thank you for the additional links. I'm curious how often KUMC is updating the TOPO, MORPH* and ICD-O codes? As for elephant, I'm not sure I have time for it, but feel free to add me. Others may have input/benefit from the conversation. Are you looking for the code that loads up the MORPH*/T_* tables? If so, maybe GPC ticket 405 comment 1<https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/ticket/405#comment:1> has what you need. We currently don't have the NAACCR staging code that builds these tables published (we haven't thought too hard about licensing, etc.). I think we could send it to you though. Or, the code is in our shared repository on elephant (see MultiSiteDev<https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/wiki/MultiSiteDev>)...it looks like you're not set up on elephant as of now. As for the ETL code, see heron_load/naaccr_*.sql<https://informatics.kumc.edu/work/browser/heron_load>. -- Nathan From: Wanta Keith M [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, November 13, 2015 2:30 PM To: Nathan Graham; Dan Connolly Subject: NAACCR python code Hey guys, I'm doing a code review on our NAACCR conversion. Where is your python and SQL code located for NAACCR? Is it available online? Thanks, Keith
