Hmm... I'd rather not add a 1.5M jar file to this little 173K minibuilder.
I can make a nicer diagnostic.
Meanwhile...
Grab it from
http://search.maven.org/remotecontent?filepath=org/hsqldb/hsqldb/2.3.2/hsqldb-2.3.2.jar
and stick it in `${jdbc.lib}`?
This is in the usage docs, but it's not very friendly that the hello-world
test doesn't work the first time.
