When the front desk staff update a patient with an alpha ID in Pracsoft a new

Not all of them got synchronised?
I assume Promed, like MD, uses an external ID field that aalows
transferrred information to be given to the right patient, because the
external ID field value matches the UR number in Pracsoft.
When you do a synchronise and go into the database utility in MD, you
can see any external IDs that don't have the value from the PM software.
They can be manually edited or the duplicate from the PM package picked
as the retained duplicate when merging so that future edits can be matched.
