Can I echo that sentiment?

It would also seem that there is room for a project to develop an
open-source-from-the-start, development-in-a-fishbowl openEHR engine/kernel,
and that such a project could successfully be multi-national due to the general
nature of what is involved (as opposed to creation of open source clinical
applications such as GNUmed, which often run into rough seas due to the rather
different health care systems and modes of health practice in different
countries).

And I think it could be done rather nicely in Python.
