Oliver,
I suspect that the Medicare person wouldn't be on camera, but at the
same time as the broadcast the minister's office may be busy organising
the press release and statement to the press that may inadvertently
blacken your names by inferring that Dr Guy, and other referring
doctors, are to be investigated over a serious case of Medicare fraud.
Somehow, your name might slip out at the press briefing, not that it is
likely that the details of the alleged offences would be specified,
owing to privacy reasons, however, and not through anyone's intention or
fault, of course, the impression might be gained that you were part of a
conspiracy to defraud the Commonwealth.
Don't laugh, this seems to me to resemble rather uncannily what has
happened to Western Sydney Division and it's former board and staff.
