Hi
I dont know if they are any good but I chose a powerware the other day
1500VA as a temp measure till i save enough for an APC 1500VA. It
actually seems nice so far, runs the server long enough for shutdown and
has software to initiate the soft landing, monitor the battery etc (USB
not serial too).

$299 at umart.
Reviews seemed ok . its not the same class as apc but neither is the
price. Batteries are replaceable.
