Yesterday we had phone call from the radiology practice about updating x and
y, and practice manager said "send me the details to tell DrD, because she's
not here today". the details were incomplete, it was download x and y do not
install and ring me. I emailed this guy to ask if he would be there at 6:30pm
when i got near the job
whinged about their attitude to our electronic downloads, when we don't get
advice in time of changes, big resource hungry downloader running java
said we had simple options like Argus and encrypted email which would remain
encrypted until reached our internal server
(yes, I know that argus needs java too)
the downloads actually resumed this morning before i sent the email, and a
phone call from the liaison lady was received, with much apologies. and said
we would get a full explanation
I reckon we have got a good bargaining chip here for change.
