No-one is going to separately type their drug list into an NPS tool, and there is no standard way to interact with GP software. They may be able to hack into the HCN database format, but that creates an equity problem (the State is picking one vendor and essentially writing extension software for it). An NPS 'database', which other vendors can incorporate (which is what the article implies it is, despite the title) would be much more useful.
