This article on the Interactions datbase struck me as being similiar to the
problem of delivering terminology to the desktop. Bascially an Authority,
accepted by all, has to be respnsible for producing a server that all
vendors can exploit/import into their own systems, then their delivery
stratgey is propriety but the contents is still public and CONSISTENT. We
are working on how to do this to engineer the introudcition of SNOMED CT
is a similiar approach likely to be acceptable/sensible for drug
interactions?
thanks
