Hi Elizabeth, this appears to be a matter which is a real question mark in our work. It is a word/expression that isn't found in our lexicon and we can't tell if it is a misspelling or an unseen expression. At the moment in our mapping strategy we deliver all possible alternatives based on our algorithm for matches , however that doesn't mean we have found the correct candidate in the list. To go back to Ian's question: we also have another serious issue on how do we deliver SCT to the clinicians desktop. We don't see ourselves as doing that but we do think we can be part of the solution. At the moment our thinking is that SCT-OZ has to be prepared in such a manner that systems providers can drop it into their systems so that it is immediately available. That means putting a lot of work into creating a "universal terminology server".
