this sounds interesting :  is php scripts used to check some tables for heirarchical permissions,
and versioning , what  other than a version sequence number ,author+ time, is needed  for the versioning ?

I have started writing my own, since nothing on the market fulfilled the
simple requirements of my surgery.

We want:
- cross browser WYSIWYG
- simple "folder" based paradigm
- simple hierarchical permission system
- versioning

Have a look at Ogham Wiki - was the closest to our wishes but did neither
support hierarchical permissions nor any vcersioning, and the _javascript_
tree widget caused gried sometimes, worked fine at other times

My implementation uses PHP, the FCKEditor widget (works in most browsers but
not in Konqueror) and mySQL as backend

Interested anybody in cooperating? It's still rough, but "sort of" works.

Horst
