I am speechless at their idiocy.

Subject: [GPCG_TALK] sterilisation and accreditation

We are in the process of preparing for accreditation - I get my sterile
equipment sterilised at the Skin Clinic where I work in the morning (for
the next few weeks then only at our own place). The Skin Clinic has had
their sterilisation setup inspected by ACT health and they comply with
all the ACT rules and requirements BUT they are not AGPAL/ other
organisation (whatever they're called) accredited.

AGPAL refuses to accept this and I now have to try and source a facility
that is accredited or only use disposables- I can use the local private
hospital but they charge $33 per pack that is simply too much - I'm
paying $17 at present. I can cope with disposable instruments for simple
procedures but when I'm doing face or neck work I want a decent fine set
- does anyone know if these are found in disposables and where/ how much ?

I really dont know if I should even proceed with this accreditation -
absolute BS !!
