I would appeal the decision about your Skin Clinic sterilisation. If you
can show documents from the Skin Clinic that proves they have been
inspected and approved by ACT health then that should be adequate. If
the surveyors say no, then appeal above them to AGPAL themselves. We get
our sterilisation done at our local public hospital and all our
surveyors required was a letter form the hospital stating they did our
sterilising and it was done according to some standard. I don't think
our hospital was accredited when we first got accreditation (it is now).
I agree that accreditation is getting a bit too onerous. Methinks the
bar is being raised ridiculously and unnecessarily high!
