Never mind, Firstly, I didn't think he meant it that way and secondly - I 
think the patient's preference for a doctor has little to do with skill and a 
lot with personal preferences, empathy, etc.

A patient has to be comfortable with the treating doctor or the relationship 
is pointless - mere technical expertise is not everything in medicine.

If I would just know myself from my rantings on this list I wouldn't consider 
myself as my doctor either ;-)
