the pdf shows the paper seems to be aimed at students of multimedia and
programming, and doesn't show itself to be a very good article representing
good vertical domain analysis . It asserts that genie and md/pracsoft doesn't
have whiteboard / chat facilities, which is a ridiculously trivial addon, and
isn't needed anyway, but doesn't go into analysis the main functions for a
gp system, i.e. progress notes, demographics, script writing/recording,
pathology/radiology/specialist report receiving, and various list keeping (
immunizations, allergies, past history), form printing functions (
path/radiol requests, govt red tape form filling, specialist referral
writing) , recall/followup/ appointments management, billing ,
work shift scheduling, and finally, way off in the future, interoperability
and interpractice statistical gathering .
