I know this is the historical view but I don't taken it as a given.

It's a pity about Argus and the dropping of its GPL. It's a pity it
requires HeSA keys. However it is probably because of the latter that it
was selected as the preferred method of communication between the local
Area Health Service and GPs. This endorses the product in our area to a
large extent. The environment up here is now ripe for Argus to come up
and do mass installations as per their one time business model.

Personally I would pay for someone to get communication going between
our surgery at the Lismore Base Hospital using Argus. I can, and
probably will have to do it, but I would be interested in a techie doing
it remotely at a reasonable fee. I did this in about 20 minutes earlier
this week for a reinstallation of Medical Objects. I suspect there are
other GPs in Oliver and John Mac's Divisions who would be similarly
interested.

The medcomms environment is changing, slowly, the old rules don't
universally apply.
