Dear "Dr John", As a patient requiring diagnostic testing, thank you for your quick followup. I was impressed by your clinic's ability to refer my test to any laboratory of choice. I didn't realise the results process was completely electronic these days. I don't know what is used behind the scenes (and frankly don't care), but the fact that you can store my results electronically from all those labs is great (no more lost paper), and have a electronic system to manage clinical information. I wouldn't have thought that was possible a few years ago.
I hope that the pathology process and industry retains this efficiency and choice. I hear that there are some changes in the wind, so I hope that there is no disruption to this working system. It all seems to be working fine from my point of view.
