Simon, I asked Telstra yesterday and was specifically told that the new 8000/384 kps ADSL1 plans will maintain BFH Qualified plan status. Note that the 1500/256 plan is now $30 per month cheaper and allows an extra 2gb upload / download before shaping. Interestingly the 8000/384 kps plan is $10 per month cheaper. I was also told that an 'upgrade' of plan would use existing contract details, ie no new contract required. Here in the bush, we don't get many options - that's why we use BigPuddle.
