Don't worry Matt, I am insane too but quite enjoy it.

And not only am I insane on that count, I am a happy Windows XP user which
according to Horst makes me mad as well :-))

Why thanks.

Perhaps you only mean that using Telstra as an ISP isn't something that
would suit what you do.

We believe that using Telstra suits us at present. Not everyone is as
attached to the internet as you Dr Horst.

When we first got BFH, Telstra was the ONLY option available in this rural
location.

All of the costs of the Telstra BFH plan are covered under BFH funding - so
who cares about the cost? We don't ever meet or exceed our download limit so
we never get shaped, and so we wouldn't have any excess fees even if we
weren't on a shaped plan.

Having a single point of contact isn't necessarily a bad thing. We have a
single contact within Telstra and we get OK service from them (not brilliant
granted but OK).

I'm certain that if we were large internet users like you obviously are,
then we would probably not use Telstra, but we aren't excessively large
internet users. And neither are many medical practices I would reckon. I
would think that internet users like you are a fairly rare thing indeed.

Horses for courses, to each their own - no need for insults...
