Medtechs next version (V6) is meant to be a bug fix, unsure of new features. We use WinfaxPRO V10, which enables us to export faxes as TIFF for Medtech, unsure of whether we will be able to scan to OCR->pdf. I really need to get rid of the bloat from paper letters though. OCR is helpful if they can be scanned and saved as pdf but unhelpful if there is no quick viewer from within Medtech. The only alternative would be creating an easy file view of pdfs from separate area on server accessed from workstations but this raises problems of lack of integration of files, lack of security, sort of defeats the purpose of having a one stop shop to view all. felicity _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
