I wasn't objecting to one for MD. My concerns are: Is Fred & J Bloggs the
persons real names ? If not, why the secrecy ?
Secondly I was just making users aware of other areas where open discussions
of HCN etc takes place.
Thirdly F Bloggs said: "Although HCN provides web based forums for
discussion of their software and encourages user participation, these forums
are moderated and not available to everyone". I disagree that they
encourage user participation. I am a paid up PS3 user and I have no access
to the PS forums. I was banned long ago because only certain user
participation is allowed. If one makes truthful postings (ie. User
participation), no matter how painful, the HCN forom moderator cuts the link
for that user.

The anonymity of the administrator is irrelevant unless he / she
starts moderating.

Web forums are great for knowledge bases, but suck for discussions.

There are mailing lists run by users for most software packages, why
do you object to one for MD?

Peter.
