"Better safe than sorry.
Due to a recent public statement on another forum by a leading
Australian medical software vendor threatening potential legal action
against any site hosting forums discussing their software, we have
disabled the AusGP forum. We apologise for any inconvenience either the
comments on this forum or the removal of this service may have caused
anyone.
We will await the outcome of this discussion on this other site as to
whether the AusGP forum will be returning. As we have always maintained
- AusGP is privately owned and developed/run in our own time. We are
truly sorry that this has occurred but the risk of legal action plus the
private expense that we bare providing this website service can no
longer be justified in this current climate.
We cannot thank you enough for supporting AusGP & we hope you will
understand how difficult this decision has been for us.
