We have sourced quite a nice booklet from DCITA called Internet Security
essentials for Small Business.

Quite well written in plain English and we have been giving them to Divisions for them to distribute to their member practices.
On page 17 in a section relating to how you can protect yourself from harmful emails there is a reference to NOT using the email preview as a default setting for the inbox.
Why would they say that?
Does anybody have any comment on the risks involved in using the preview pane?
Mark,
It is well-known that many E-mail viruses have used the preview pane to
auto-execute their payloads as soon as the user clicks on the message.
These DCITA brochures were a part of the original B4H kits distributed
by our SBO, but having the pdf copies is useful and I've added them to
the IM&T resources CD I update regularly for our membership.
