Operations I perform I consider adequately remunerated by Medicare and always bulk bill. Consulting I may gross $220/hour on average, with procedures this figure trebles - cannot justify to bill any more than that despite the much higher overheads for procedural work As many have observed already - MBS remuneration is grossly skewed towards favoring procedures, and as a proceduralist I enjoy this injustice for once. The issue of a 90 day cheque simply does not arise.
