Movie, 1969, Peter Sellers, Ringo Starr & others. The subtext is
that "everyone has their price". PS, as a rich bastard, plays at finding what
that price is. He gets an officious meter warden (Milligan ) to eat a parking
ticket for a wad of money and so on..
The film was based on "a 1959 comic novel by U.S. author Terry Southern"
(Wikipaedia). I remember the novel as being quite good and worth reading.
I think that the soundtrack song "Come and get it" written by Paul
McCartney and performed by Beatles protege band Badfinger was a minor
hit at the time.
