My Division (MPDGP) now has 274 Argus users. This has been done without any local IT assistance - our Division has never employed or subcontracted an IT guy. The installations and configurations have been done remotely by Argus techies. The Division has only been involved with promotion ... How not to promote is to have an information evening of GP's complaints/ wish lists/ moans & groans. Think of leadership more akin to Napoleon, Caesar, Horatio Nelson. Hold a "Launch" with bugle fanfare and professional presentation of the benefits of implementing secure communication. Keep it simple - "it's here, it works, it's free", "come, see, conquer", "fill in this registration of interest sheet, and it will happen". Follow up with GP newsletter articles containing the same simple messages (using graphic images and text). Also include short articles with Argus tips, eg: a) add to the bottom of your letter template that you now use Argus, see http://www.argusconnect.com.au b) in your (EHR) addressbook, put an asterisk* after the name of Argus users, so that you immediately know who is an argus user when you write/address your letters. It can be done. John Mac (The 2 most powerful words in the language - "I can") _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
