Let's not waste time ... 

Many on this list have no vested interest in
any particular product at all. 

But there are others  who do have a vested
interest in a particular product, and participate
in this forum to try to further promote their
product ...  I don't have a problem with that.


After you have been here a while, you soon
know who's who, and you can anticipate what
is going to be posted by whom. 

I find it sort of quirky entertainment to read
a post by someone with a vested interest, in
the anticipation of the "put down" of those with
views unhelpful to their product. 

But overall this list is very polite, and I don't expect
that it can be made more polite.  The usual response
to anyoneover-stepping the mark is a bit of peer
self-regulatory feedback, and this seems the best
way for things to continue.
