Think my last post bounced:

Well horst, since you've obviously installed it can you write a HOWTO for
lesser mortals to get the (non NAT) networking going between linux and the
virtual machine so the virtual machine appears on a windows network.

I've tried various instructions on how to set up tap/bridging etc all to no
avail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Otherwise, yes, its bloody fast, especially with winxp, I installed it on my
ARCH linux box a couple of weeks ago and several machines since.

One slight word of warning about this companies software, when I first
installed a beta on my laptop some months ago, it did a recursive delete of
my home directory!.

I was sitting dreamily watching the install late at nightone my second glass
of vino, which I'd done from a terminal under my file manager, so the file
manager pane was openand noticed myself thinking 'Thats strange, why are all
my directories suddenly disppearing.

By the time I'd stopped the process, I'd lost alphabetically all directories
down to 'm', pity, because the top ones were 'Archive', 'Coding', Documents'
etc etc.

However, the latest builds seem properly behaved, but I was really reticent to
put it back on a valuable machine.

I await the HOWTO.

Richard
