WSS wins Referral Messaging contract for GP’s across Tasmania
Melbourne, Victoria – 12 June 2007: Major e-health solutions
provider, Working Systems
Solutions Limited (ASX:WSS), are pleased to announce that it has
signed a contract with
General Practice Tasmania Limited for the statewide deployment of
secure electronic
messaging using WSS’ ReferralNet .
The General Practice Tasmania network comprises the three Divisions
of General Practice
and the Rural Workforce Agency in Tasmania .
Collaboration across the General Practice Tasmania network has
resulted in an agreed
state-wide approach and the subsequent Secure Electronic Clinical
Communications
Initiative (SECCI). The SECCI Project that has been funded by
HealthConnect, will deliver
standardised electronic clinical messages through the implementation
of a secure two-way
electronic messaging service between Tasmanian GPs and specialists.
General Practice Tasmania selected WSS’ ReferralNet as the preferred
supplier for Phase 1
of the SECCI Project.

meet our need for secure electronic messaging in primary care and
deliver long term
