I'm interested in the views of the list members on the process of transferring patient records electronically between Practices. Given that most households move house once every four years and that Practices are becoming more electronic, the days of handing over a paper file are almost over. So if a patient goes to another practice how are records transferred now and what will this look like in the future? - The destination Practice might well have a different practice management system using different protocols and standards of course. Chris.
