I see you have libgphoto2 2.5.22 ... can you upgrade to 2.5.25 
and see if it improves things for capturing?

Can you also report again in this mode:

        gphoto2 --summary
        gphoto2 --list-all-config

And can you also try:
        gphoto2 --capture-preview
