--- Comment #14 from Thomas Perl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2008-06-15 15:02:03 ---
Things left to do, from IRC:

(2008-06-15 16:44:44) thp: currently, you don't delete episodes from podcasts
that have disappeared from the rss feed, right?
(2008-06-15 16:46:18) thp: if that's the case, we can already get rid of the
localdb, as the sqlite stuff already does that part (keeping the episode
metadata around, even when it has disappeared from the feed)
(2008-06-15 16:46:58) thp: we then just need to think of a way to get rid of
episodes that have disappeared from the feed but have not been downloaded, or
(if they have been downloaded) have already been deleted
(2008-06-15 16:48:14) thp: also, the channel should save the etag and
last-modified date and this should be passed to the feedcache, which should not
download the channel if the feed has not changed since the last run
(2008-06-15 16:48:29) thp: after that, I think the patch is in quite a good
shape
(2008-06-15 16:49:19) thp: oh, yes: adding support for migrating the history
(one-time, if you don't want to do this, i can code this, too.. not that much
work), it should basically show a small dialog with a progressbar to show the
migration process.
