In principle, I'm OK with that. 

I'm using Rockbox, and sometimes browse my players file system to look for
episodes.  If there are multiple episodes of the form:

N810.20090115.1234.mp4"
N810.20090116.2334.mp4"
N810.20090117.34564.mp4"

Then that'd be just fine, as the date part ensures that they're sorted in a
semi-sensible fashion. Forcing the addition of the episode ID to guarantee
uniqueness works, even if it means long ugly file names.  As long as the human
readable part of the name is at the front, it would certainly meet my needs.
