As far as I am aware, PA takes over the audio system as soon as it is
installed. You could probably disable that but I didn't want it on my system
since I'm not using it at all and it might mess up stuff. I will keep
investigating this and I'll get back to you if I find something out.

Do we know why gnome-bluetooth depends on PA?
