--- Comment #20 from Fabian A. Scherschel <[email protected]> 2010-03-16 10:10:48 GMT --- (In reply to comment #19) > (In reply to comment #18) > > Do we know why gnome-bluetooth depends on PA? > For Bluetooth audio: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=497703#c5 I'll investigate that one, but I tend to agree with the original commenter on that bug thread. Having a hard dependency on one of several working audio systems seems overkill for something like Bluetooth. They should just detect if PA is present, and if not warn the user and disable the functionality on first run. Now they are forcing other peripheral apps like gPodder to also depend on PA if they want Bluetooth (even if only for data), that seems unacceptable to me. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.gpodder.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ gPodder-Bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/gpodder-bugs
