Yes, this is true. For now, we don't ship the CLI frontend. You could try
copying the "gpo" script from the source distribution and use "python" to run
it, i.e. "python gpo". You might have to modify some paths so Python can find
the necessary libraries (the things that "gpodder.exe" does), but other than
that, I don't see a reason why it can't be used on Windows, too (apart from
maybe the colors, but that's something that we could easily disable).

(I assume that if you are interested in the CLI version, you have some basic
understanding of how this works, if not, please tell me and I'll give more
detailed instructions).
