Yes, I only work with one location at the moment.

I think so (although I'm not super good with Unix). When I create the signature file with i.cluster, the signature is saved in the exact same location as when working with i.class, and I can read the signature
with i.maxlik with no problems. The trouble arises only when I have created the signature file with i.class.

Yes, I'm working with 3 raster maps at the moment, and they're all in that subgroup. The whole process, including running i.maxlik, works fine, when I've created the signature file with i.cluster.
I think maybe this problem has something to do with the first problem I had: maybe it's some kind of a bug?
