This is something that was needed
for a long time. A few suggestions:
I find the light grey that you used
extensively in the illustration
hard to read.
Since the word "field" is also
a technical key word in this context,
I would rename the example table
"fields" to "plots".

if necessary a page on the wiki where the diagram would be explicitely
commented :
- terminology (feature-id, cat, layer, database connection)
- related handling commands (v.category and so on).
