I just tried a buffer on bugsites in the Spearfish data - no
problems. A simple fixed buffer distance.
details? can you reproduce the problem on the spearfish data? What
is the exact command you used?
There may be a crash report - check Console.app. Dig into your home/
library/logs/crashreporter and see if there is something there for
v.buffer.
