Hi List, is it possible to label only features of a vector map that fall under a certain condition? I have a point map with archaeological sites and I want to create labels with v.label for ps.map for a certain period only.
Is it necessary to create a new vector map for each period? I acutally want to avoid to fill up my workspace with maps whose only purpose is labeling. It's not diskspace or something else, it just against my sense of order. Or is the way to rearrange the arch. sites map into different layers? The solution I would like most is to give some kind of condition to v.label like the where clause you can give to d.vect or the vpoints argument in ps.map.
