Can't do it on a server VM. :(

Running VM inside a VM might not be the best idea, but I'm really out of options to run Graylog in my situation.

* Natively on Windows: not officially supported
* Inside VirtualBox: doesn't work and the BIOS option is not available
* Docker Toolbox: ditto (uses VirtualBox)
* Docker for Windows: only available for Windows 10+

What am I left with? Vagrant??

Hi Dmitry,
as I said you have to enable hardware virtualization support in the BIOS of your host.

Cheers,

I have exactly the same symptoms with the latest Graylog 2.0.3 VM
    on a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM.

    * VirtualBox gives "VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX)." with
the default 4 GB Graylog VM RAM
    * When RAM decreased to 2 GB, VirtualBox VM hangs immediately
    * When RAM decreased to 3 GB, Ubuntu menu comes up, after
selecting Ubuntu, VirtualBox VM hangs immediately

Boy, do I wish Graylog would support running on Windows natively.
Write Once, Run Anywhere is a great idea!

        Hi Nikhil,
looks like you didn't enable hardware virtualization in the

try providing a little bit more memory (minimum 4 GB)

                    Below is the setting

                    base memeory - 3000mb
                    boot order - hard disk
                    chipset - ICH9
Extended feature - Enable I/O APIC

We copied the OVA and VM into the server and ,
after that started the oracle vm and below steps
we double clicked the graylog ova it
automatically got imported by the virtual machine.
