Have you checked greasemonkey-dev? It's being worked on; one of the
important things is integration with the new extension manager, already
partly done. Probably 0.9 will be 4.0.*-compatible when released, which
will hopefully be within a few months.
But yes, I second the interest; GM is one of the most important
beta-upgrade-blocking addons for me right now.
