Friends,
The pending death warrant and the petition before the President of
India in the case of Mohmed Afsal (not Afsal Guru, where the names of
Asfan Guru ,the co-accused in the case and Mohamd Afsal sometimes were
confused by many.) need to be urgently taken up as very important
issues, without by any means mitigating the focus of the ongoing
campaign against death penalty in general.
Perhaps for the former, very short time might be left.
The online petition and the article by Arundhati Roy appeared in
Outlook Weekly may be taken to as many number of people as possible
In Solidarity,
K.M.Venugopalan
