hi Rajani S Anand's suicide cannot alone be attributed to her finacial constraints as projectd by the LEFT
the kind of caste discrimination and symbolic violence perpetuated by our educaional system is the real cause. the concept of self financing colleges also came in response to Mandalisation wher the Kannada brahmins started such educational institutions (i think padma vilaskar discusses abt it in detail)... so the concept itself is anti-dalit/OBC and very much Brahmincal.
