In 2004 One dalit Student Himanshu Gautam scored 160 marks out of 200 in UP state civil services which was an all time record in the history of state civil services. We took his interview where he said that this happened becasue for the first time that year UP state civil service commission had introduced the practice of not providing the interviewers any information regarding the candidates identity.
